Yes it is, what they are there for. No point having polices unless people use and follow them.
Policies need to be reviewed and kept updated though. No point in them unless they are done right.
A perfect example being this case – ‘Bus Eireann ordered to review policy after it refused to let a man take his support dog on a bus‘.
