Section 21, Equal Status Acts

People  get confused with the Equal Status Acts. Often confusing them with the Employment Equality Acts.

The Equal Status Acts applies to provision of services. Not everything is a service that comes under the scope of the ESA.

As this case highlights, individuals have rights under it to bring discrimination cases to the WRC.
Organisations or companies do NOT have rights under it to bring cases for discrimination against them to the WRC.
